Phykick — Physical Kick Drum Synthesizer
Phykick is a physically-inspired kick drum synthesizer plugin that delivers punchy, expressive low-end sounds using a custom synthesis engine.
Built with a short burst exciter, dispersive allpass filters, and a resonant comb body, Phykick offers a unique balance of precision and character. It’s not just a sample player — it generates kick tones dynamically and lets you shape their punch, tone, length, and drive with intuitive parameters.
Whether you're crafting tight techno kicks, big-room booms, or clicky experimental percussion, Phykick gives you fine control over the attack, body, and color of each sound.
Note: A graphical user interface (GUI) is planned for a future version.
For now, parameters can be adjusted via your DAW’s plugin interface or automation.
